Crescerance will be attending ISTE 2016 this upcoming June 26- 29. ISTE is the premier education conference with 500 companies and 1,000 sessions covering innovative technologies and groundbreaking ideas that can be incorporated into the classroom.  Crescerance co-founder and president, Alefiya Bhatia will be a presenter for four events throughout the conference. BYOA (Build You Own App) June 25 12:30- 3:30 pm

During this event Bhatia will go over the process of building an app with co-presenter Cool Cat Teacher, Vicki Davis. While app building might seem like an intimidating process, Bhatia plans to discuss how it is in anyone’s skill set. Come join this event to learn more about this professional, user-friendly, online app-building tool!

 

CTN Playground  June 26 12:30- 4:00 pm

Crescerance will be one of the six presenters at this exhibit that focuses on how to identify aspects of computational thinking. The Playground is focused around ideas, issues and practical examples which support the mission of teaching and learning about commuting. Visit the Crescerance booth to win a site license for your school!

 

Mobile Learning Playground June 27 12:30- 4:00 pm

This Playground will highlight how mobile technology can enhance different learning spaces in the classroom and beyond. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the MAD Learn app and a chance to win a site license for your school.

 

CUE STEAMPunk Playground June 28 9:30 am- 1:00 pm

For educators who are interested in incorporating STEAM in the classroom this playground will present various programming tools to encourage critical thinking and coding. Join Crescerance as we will be presenting a five minute Ignite session at 11:45 am during the Playground.
